Captain Mosteller has been employed by the Jones County Sheriff's Office since December 15, 1986. He started his career as a Communications Officer and moved to the Patrol Division in 1990. He is currently the Jail Administrator for the Jones County Sheriff's Office and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Jones County Jail. Captain Mosteller also serves as a P.O.S.T. Certified Instructor and regularly teaches classes for the entire department. He also serves as a P.O.S.T. Certified Firearms Instructor and handles the annual re-certification of deputies. Prior to his current position, Captain Mosteller was a shift supervisor for the Uniform Patrol Division.
